Ohhhhhh, Easter!

Last weekend, we decided to try to dye some Easter eggs with Silas. I say "try" because we had no idea how it would turn out. Well it turns out....Silas really enjoyed himself. This picture hardly does justice to his enthusiasm. He was literally jumping up and down in his high chair.
He really liked plopping the "balls" into the dye.
Again and again.
Rearranging them in the carton was fun too. Check out the concentration on his face (and blue dye splattered all over). It is unfortunate that he splashed the blue the most, though, because it ended up looking like little bruises all over his body. I kinda wondered what people thought when we were at Costco later that day. Then again, he also had an Easter sticker stuck to his cheek.

This was also a big sports weekend at our house. Silas was so surprised when he heard Michigan State made it into the NCAA 'Final Four': He even got to show-off his (father's) school spirit by wearing his MSU sweats and cruising the neighborhood on his little trike. Lucky for him, it was a relatively cool day in Phoenix.

And, finally, I just had to share this picture of Silas and his "Ohhhhh" face. People are always commenting on how expressive this boy is. And this face is one of his best. We see it all the time. And it makes us laugh every time. Maybe I can catch it on video sometime so you can laugh too!
